Love...My...Idea

Do you love ideas? Do you like expressing them, sharing and making your ideas more real than just watching them laying in the mind?

The way out from this dilemma was found by Enterprise Week. It is an annual UK-wide week of activities aimed at inspiring young people (14- 30) to have ideas and make them happen.

A new website LoveMyIdea is launched at Enterprise Week 2007. It provides opportunities to share, grow, get, pitch, and sell ideas.

The portal is created by young entrepreneurs headed up by Derry-based businessman Joe McGinnis. Who admits that “Everyone from children to old age pensioners can use the site and we want to be able to help people move forward with their ideas – whether they are for business or social reasons, we welcome them all.”“The website simply gives people the tools to potentially make their ideas a reality. Anyone can invest on the website financially - or mentally, by becoming a mentor, this is what makes us different from a typical “Dragon’s Den” style investor/ inventor format.”“The term investor for lovemyidea.com is a wider concept – you can invest in the community, a charity, or a family business, and we are hoping it will attract equal numbers of ideas, investors, and mentors alike.”

The ideas are as confidential as one wants them to be. It is possible to control who can see your ideas. This tool is especially useful for the colleagues who can share innovations with other colleagues.

Ideas Directory cover the following fields: Agriculture, Automotive, Building & Construction, Business, Charity & Not for Profit, Community, Competitions, Computers & the Internet, Culture & Arts, Current Affairs, Education & Employment, Entertainment, Environment, Financial & Legal, Food & Drink, Health & Beauty, Home & Garden, Lifestyle, Manufacturers & Engineers, Media & Communication, Medical, Retail, Sports & Leisure, Topical, Youth.

As Mr. McGinnis announces: “It is simply a portal where ideas can be heard, loved, nourished and encouraged by the community of members committed to changing the way we think about our street, our community and our world,”.
