Sourcewire says that the award winning website has been given the accolade in a report* by independent measurement and analysis company, Nielsen Online.
Nielsen Online report reveals that BeatThatQuote.com grew its monthly audience of unique visitors by 1,165% from December 2006 to December 2007. Facebook came second in percentage terms with an increase of just 781% in comparison.
Founder and Managing Director John Paleomylites said: “Our numbers for January are already 300% up on December at just under 1million unique visitors. There’s still plenty more growth that we are on target to achieve. Clearly, consumers love what we’re doing and are coming to us rather than other price comparison sites.”
Alex Burmaster, Internet Analyst, Nielsen Online commented, “Many will be surprised to see that Facebook wasn’t the fastest growing site of the year, this honour went to price comparison site, BeatThatQuote.com – a reminder that the Internet provides valuable services other than virtually poking friends and acquaintances.”
