The first analog mobile phone "The brick" was developed by a Motorola researcher and executive Martin Cooper in April, 1973. Seems to be quite overpriced, as for the same amount of money you’re now able to get a smartphone by Apple, with up to 8 hours talk-time 0.3 pounds (140 grams).

The automobile industry began with a toy car built by Ferdinand Verbiest - a Flemish Jesuit missionary, for the Chinese emperor way back in 1672. However, in 1769, French inventor - Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot invented a vehicle which could facilitate human transportation for the services of French army. The car moved at a maximum speed of 2 1 mph on only three wheels. The term "skyscraper" was first applied to buildings of steel framed construction of at least 10 storeys in the late 19th century. The tallest building for today, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is just as 829.84 m or 2723 ft high. 

In 1827, Joseph Nicephore Niepce made the first photographic image with a camera, featuring only two colors. The modern cameras register only 3 colors (Red, Green, and Blue) but with 1024+ levels of light intensity per color (density)…
