There was no earthquake today; neither any prognosis of it that could inspire me to pay your attention to new earthquake iPhone and iPad App. But this topic is so sensitive and the initiative of releasing revolutionary new application for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch is so thoughtful that the issue is worth covering.The new App saves lives of earthquake victims, caught in an earthquake, and offers news and information to those living in seismically active areas.
The QuakeSOS app is free and can be downloaded from Apple's App store. In the most difficult times while being caught in an earthquake, app users can send messages via the QuakeSOS web.
Three kinds of messages can be sent via QuakeSOS:
"Safe" messages
"Help me" messages
"Did You Feel it" messages
As for the reliability of QuakeSOS, according to the QuakeSOS, it uses different official earthquake data sources. The earthquake news published in the application and in the website is based upon many different sources as well as our own reading of the data.

The first Earthquake App i see with a real communication interaction + the most relevant information of earthquakes. The News tab seems to be unique. This is the only application with real people behind the App. In the News tab they are giving value you can't even see that quick in the news.
